Director of Youth and Family Ministries

Angel Doebler joined the staff of St. Mark's Episcopal Church as Director of Youth and Family Ministries in July of 2006. Angel brings a tremendous amount of experience and talent to her role. Prior to moving to Venice, she worked as Youth Minister and Children's Ministry Coordinator for Christ Episcopal Church in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and EYE Coordinator for the Diocese of Fond du Lac. She also served as Chair of the Education Commission at Christ Episcopal in LaCrosse and as the Children's Formation Coordinator at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Wausau, Wisconsin. An accomplished musician, Angel has taught as well as performed music. Angel often accompanies the St. Mark's choir, playing her primary instrument, the flute. She is a licensed Kindermusik teacher and has taught that program since 1997. As a performer, Angel has been a part of an early Music consort called "Point in Time," the 132d Army Band of the Wisconsin National Guard, and The Greater LaCrosse Area Flute Ensemble.

Angel brings a tremendous amount of vitality, energy and experience working with youth of all ages, young adults and families. She is married to Ross and they have two boys, Christian and Mackenzie.
